You Want It, You Got It (1981)
Review by Karl Watson

You Want It, You Got It is a major improvement on BA's debut album, creating a clearer image for himself. Highlights include great rockers such as “Lonely Nights” and “Fits Ya Good”, along with the pumping bass line and drums of “Tonight”. Interesting to hear a saxophone solo during “Last Chance”, glad it's a one off though – leave the sax solos to The Boss. “No One Makes It Right” also deserves a mention, a simple but effective ballad to close the album. It's just a crying shame BA didn't stick with the original title for this album: “Bryan Adams Hasn't Heard Of You Either”. Brilliant!

Key Tracks:
Lonely Nights
Tonight
