Waking Up The Neighbours
(1992)
Review by Steven Stanley |

Another video collection of his singles from the
album. The 'Everything I Do' version isn't the 'Robin Hood' version
as Bryan hated it... so instead we are treated from a dubbed live
version recorded in Miami and it works really well. From the same
show 'Touch The Hand' is also included, it's really well produced
and just whets your appetite for seeing a Bryan Adams show. Likewise,
'There Will Never Be Another Tonight' (filmed at Sheffield
Arena) features Bryan rockin' out to an insane South Yorkshire
crowd and no matter how many times you watch it... it never gets
old.
This was the early 90's so dodgy videos were always
a plenty... however somehow the Dolphins and Corpses flying around
in a blue wheat field don't look out of place in the 'Thought I'd
Died' video... one wonders what they were smoking when the concept
for that video was drafted up!
'Do I Have To Say The Words' is a classy outing...
this version features the full album version with footage from the
Istanbul show at the end. 'Can't Stop'...a great iconic video and
one of the better ones he's done while 'All I Want Is You' adds
a touch of humour to preceedings.
A great bunch of videos from a superb album... however
thats all it is, 45 minutes of music videos. So although they are
great I'll just give it the 3 stars. Well worth purchasing though.
