'Cuts Like A Knife' (1983)
Cuts peaked at #15 on the US Billboards charts and remained
top 20 in Canada for 20 weeks! It was also nominated for a
Juno Award in '83 for 'Best Single Of The Year'. Truely an
Adams classic and a song that really put him on the map in
America.

The video for this single was considered 'controversial'
for it's time. It featured Bryan throwing a knife, plus a woman
changing into a bikini (behind closed doors) and then jumping into
what appears to be an empty pool, however she comes out soaking
wet. Pretty tame by today's standards! It was directed by Irish
director Steve Barron and filmed in an empty indoor swimming pool
in Hollywood. The pool had been drained and out-of-use for several
years. It would also be the location for Adams platinum album party.
