Summer Of '69
The first single to be released after 'Reckless' became a
#1 album in the states in the summer of '85. At this stage,
Bryan was the biggest he's ever been in the US. It went to
#9 in Canada, top 5 in the states but only reached #42 in
the UK and was never a hit there, or in Europe. A popular
mis-conception about the song is that people think it's about
the year 1969... it's not. It's about sex. "Me and my
baby in a '69..." can't be clearer than that!

Originally written on the 25th January 1984, this
song was recorded 3 times in it's entirely until it was mixed on
the 22nd September 1984 for the album. It wasn't a hit in Europe
until the early 90's when radio stations picked up on it after his
success with 'Everything I Do'. As for formats, Bryan releases his
first CD single.
