Unplugged (1997)
MTV Unplugged was released internationally 9th December '97 after the MTV Special aired on 29th November. Many people were surprised at the 3 new songs it had to offer and the clever way old songs were brought back to life in a different way. Hot of the heels of the successful '18 Til I Die' album 'Unplugged' was a big success.

MTV Unplugged was recorded at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC on 26th September '97. Bryan didn't have to think long and hard about what songs he wanted to perform on the album, infact him and the rest of the guys pretty much agreed on everything....co-incidently 'Fits Ya Good' was suggested by everybody! 'C'mon C'mon C'mon' from the following 'On A Day Like Today' album was written for this album but BA decided to save it for the next studio album. The big hit from the album was the upbeat 'Back To You' although when BA did media promo around the world he played the old songs in the studios as well as the new ones....as anyone who saw the Howard Stern show will testify too ;)

The album was released with pretty much the same tracklist everywhere, however the Japanese got Can't Stop This Thing We Started/It Ain't A Party If Ya Can't Come 'Round as well. The video release differed as well.
