Live In Lisbon (2005)
Released at the same time as the 'Anthology' album, this concert provides a sort of 'live greatest hits'. Filmed in Lisbon across two nights, the 30th and 31st of January 2005, this Portuguese crowd are well up for it. This is the first complete concert DVD to be released of BA performing in a 5 piece band (old or new). A tremendous amount of time and effort went into the filming, featuring footage filmed on super 8mm and 16mm film stock. The result is a very stylistic concert film that is not to everyone's taste. |
All of the songs from the concert are featuring,
except for 'Lonely Nights', however a snippet of this song is used
for the background video of one of the menus. Bonus features include
three promo videos, a radio interview, a picture gallery, plus an
excellent easter egg: on montage of Bryan talking to different 'When
You're Gone' girls from the past year. To find this, simply go to
the set list menu, scroll down to 'When You're Gone', move your
cursor right and select the icon that appears.
The gig was originally going to be shot 2 days prior
in Madrid for a DVD called 'Mad In Madrid'. However the decision
was switched to Lisbon probably because of the 2 night stint he
had there which would allow them to capture more footage.
