24/04/04 - SPRINGHEAD PUB, HULL

Review by Steven Stanley:
Myself and Andrea (Bristol WYG Girl for those who don't know) decided to go and see the experience the week before, unfortunately Adrian couldn't come to this show and what a show it was! The Springhead was absolutely packed and a lot more lively than the last time the boys were here...probably full of people wanting to wet their appetites before the big BA show at the KC Stadium just down the road in a couple of months time. A lot of fans knew all the words to some more older less commerical material on the setlist like 'Heat Of The Night' and 'Touch The Hand' which was cool to see and added to the atmosphere.

The show started with 'One Night Love Affair' and rock anthem after rock anthem was played by the boys. Something else new was Stuart's acoustic used on songs like 'Back To You' which gave the song a more authentic sound to the unplugged version they play. One highlight during the show was when a girl got dragged up onstage by the band to sing the duet 'It's Only Love' and her boyfriend ended up coming onstage as well and played guitar all the way through and he was bloody good at it too! When he finished his piece his girlfriend got embarassed and wanted to go but he had a blast up there!

Many stage invasions followed as the night drew to a close and the crowd just wanted the band to keep playing. They were really good and the lads had certainly worked up a decent sweat by the time they had come off stage! One funny thing we saw after the show was the lads stamping 'body parts' which said 'approved by the bryan adams experience' which I found rather amusing! End of the day a pretty damn good night and we took some cool pictures of the Humber Bridge on the way back.....via of course the KC Stadium....we got that checked out :)
