COMMODORE BALLROOM, VANCOUVER, BC Bryan plays at the legendary Commodore Ballroom in downtown Vancouver. This was a big show for BA as his debut album was on the scene and people were standing up and listening to his music. Word has it that after this show, BA was a headline act and no longer plied his trade in clubs. The night was a success, and this (the first ticketed show for the band) was to be the first show of thousands upon thousands where the public came specifically to see BA and his band. The Ballroom itself is located on Granville Street... it's still there today although after closure in '96 and re-opening in '99 after a long renovation it's reopened as one of the 'House Of Blues'. It only holds 900 people at capacity and apart from Bryan many other amazing acts have performed there including The Police, Nirvana, David Bowie, U2, RHCP's, Pearl Jam, Coldplay, The Clash, KISS and Tina Turner. | |||
