With the massive success of Everything I Do... and Waking Up
the Neighbours, BA was hotter than hot by the last month of 1991 came around.
He had one of the top albums of the year and Everything I Do... was by far and
away the #1 song of the year. The band was well into the 37 show first leg of
the Waking Up the World Tour which would keep them on the road through to the
middle of 1993. This night was the last in Germany before moving onto other European
countries such as Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
The night before
playing this gig in Saarbrucken in the western side of Germany, the band made
their only appearance in France at the smallest venue on the tour in Paris for
one of the more unique shows on the tour. Rarities
include the opening which is a cover song used once in a while to start off a
show: I Hear You Knockin' and one of the first-ever performances of If You Leave
Me. BA adds a little bit of the Isley Brothers Shout into the middle of Long Gone.
Possibly inspired from his performance in Paris the night before, BA mixes up
the structure of the set list a little bit with C'mon Everybody coming AFTER Summer
