24/03/92 - THE CENTRUM, WORCESTER, MA Review
by Bryan King: As a fan who was in Boston at this time and was able to go
to this show it was a good one and one of my favourites from the Waking up the
Neighbours tour. The Boston area and the northeast fans are awesome - very vocal
and standing up from the opening notes. As Bryan said at the end of the show:
"This is no bullshit - you guys are by far the loudest crowd we've played
to - and this is Tuesday!" Some personal thoughts about this show: As
an intern student at Polygram Records in Boston, I got free tickets to this show
and I took my Canadian flag which Bryan gave a thumbs up to during the break in
Straight from the Heart. Even the hard-to-impress record reps were impressed with
that! I gave my flag to a rep who was going backstage and he got it signed by
Bryan. The flag is still on my wall. I remember someone telling me that Bryan
was having throat problems and cancelling the show was an option, but obviously
didn't happen. It's hard to tell if he's having any problems with his voice. I
remember looking around at the audience during the show thinking they are nuts
here! Bryan appreciated the crowd and did a fair share of talking with them about
the area. Setlist: House Arrest Kids Wanna
