13/11/02 - FESTHALLE, FRANKFURT
Review by Karen Peterson:
Day 5:
Up for breakfast and off to Frankfurt, and well we or I have come
to the conclusion I can't nor shouldn't be reading the map, well
wasn't too bad this time we found the venue straight away and now
we are off to look for hotel, we find it book in and freshen up
and off to the venue we go,we see some familiar faces and que up
with them , by the looks of it, the gates all open and its a free
for all, we all stood there freezing and finally the gates open
and its a mad dash up the stairs and ppl falling and ugg what a
Mess, then to be stopped dead at another place right before the
doors, ppl squishing and squashing whew,fianally doors open and
the next mad rush goes, we had already decided we would just go
to B stage and relax this night instead of running for front row,
was a different atmospehere and sound, but I had never experienced
the Bstage b4 so thoiught to give it a try, the show from what we
could see was good,they started with these 1. Here I Am 2. House
Arrest 3. 18 Til I Die 4. Can't Stop This Thing We Started Bryan
speaks some more German and then off with 5. Back To You 6. Summer
Of '69 and then an intro to "It's only Love" ahh that
solo gets to me every time HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. Thx Again K-munkiness
:)) Bryan chats a bit explaining how much he enjoys Frankfurt etc
and goes into a nice version of EID,and after that amazing song
he does another oldie but goody Straight From the Heart, always
love that song , even better live.....now cut's Like a knife and
yet again the crowd went NUTS.....Now it's time for WYG once again,
well I am not jumping cos well first he wouldnt see me and well
I just had , had enuff playing and wanted to enjoy the show, he
chooses a young girl who seemed a bit scared but ended up doing
ok. had some fun with Bryan, Poor girl was so nervous and excited..
But was nice to see her have some fun up there.
now some more chatting from Bryan wich is always nice to see him
do, they come into these next songs, 12. I'm Ready 13. Heaven 14.

15. The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me and out comes the band
for their Bows and waves to the crowd and off they head for B SATGE
Finally By us and Looks at us smiles and they do Little Less Conversation,
Seven Nights to Rock,Poison Ivy, The Twist and the begining of She's
only Happy, well at this time Bryan is pulling girls up on stage,
I had my hand out and pulled it back then Bryan reaches out and
looks at me with a cheeky smile and says NAHHHH, UHHH BRYAN , he
is such a BRAT hahah but I still Love em, Knew he was having fun,
and it was quite allright , besides I think he knew if I got up
there I would have gone to his munkiness , well it was nice to see
all the fun at the bsatge at least once, I prefer main stage tho
... as most do I am sure.Now back to the Main stage where they do
Cloud 9 , run to you, and best of me, and during BOM Bryan again
heads for front row and sings to the crowd and let's the fans see
him, feel him, up close and personal, I Just Love that he was doing
that!!!! what a GREAT Show , but it has ended now, well off we went
and met vega 4 and got some autographs from them what a nice bunch
of guys :))) and then we decided to go to the back to see if we
have a chance of the guys stopping, but we see them going from one
building into the next I SPOT keith and well naturally I have to
yell MUNKEE, not sure if He heard me but off they went and we notice
some moving and lights going on upsairs so we guessed they went
to some kind of get together for something, and didn't think they
would appear for some time , so off we went with Tina and Caroline
to the pub underground by the railway station, place was a bit different
but we got some drinks and chatted and laughed , well they closed
and kicked us out and off to our hotel we went , we sure werent
going back to tina and caz' Brothel I mean hotel HEHE.. so off we
all go , at our hotel we go directly to the bar get some more drinks
and more and more and more, and by this time Tina had liked the
furniture there so much she almost took her chair back with her
hahahahha, and the disabled toiletts will never be the same, will
the barman ever recover? he must have thought OMG what is going
on here where did this bunch come from.... well i tell ya what i
have never laughed as hard as I did with them 2 they are so much
fun, but word of advice don't try getting in on their convo's cos
u won't get a word in .. sheesh and I thought I could talk ha, well
it was getting late, well ok was getting to be daylight and the
morning papers were arriving and it was then we knew we needed sleep,
and off tina and caz went back to their Brothel and us up to our
beds , wow what a night. beddy bye byes ......... karen's
diary day 6 go>
