Day 7:
Morning , we wake up have our coffee and breakfast and get checked
out and off to the venue, we arrive to see a few baddies there and
no one else WOW we got lucky and managed a first place spot dead
center, and also realsied all we had to dowas run straight down
to the stage, well more ppl showed up and then these guys to set
up the "gates" so that everyone would que accordingly,
I must say out of the shows I did this was by far the most organised
yet. the ppl werent too bad with pushing either and it was cold
yet again, well this is when I first heard of and tried Gluhwein,
What the Heck is this, Uli had boght us all drinks ad she explains
to us waht it is, ITS WINE AHH I am in Heaven, never have I ever
thought to drink it hot like that , it was GOOOOOOOOOOOOD, hey can
I have another?? ah better not I need to run to the stage heheh,
but was nice of Uli to do that for us , a friendly gesture, nd we
were freezing , this helped for a bit mind you. :)) ok well we are
warming up getting ready for the mad dash to the stage, BOOM the
gates open and I swear it's like a horse race dada da da CHARGE!!!!
well it was me shelly and Uli first ones in and as we passed the
security by the b stage they were making noises like race cars ...
ZOOM,ZOOM,ZOOM, I couldnt stop laughing and almost couldnt run,
but we made it front and center stage whewwwwwww. well we get settled
in see some familiar faces and wait for vega 4, they finally come
out and wow what a great show they seemed in high spirts and did
a wonderful Job, I have now become one of the few USA fans they
have :)) yes I joined the fanclub, too :) now they were done and
we are all excited to see the guys as this was our last night on
this tour, ahh Here they come and as in past shows they start with
Here I am, that song is so good live :))) on to House Arrest, 18
, can't stop,Back to you, summer of 69 (acoustic) and some chatting
with the crowd again and intro to the band and Sir Keith Scott ,
"it's Only Love" I wil NEVER get tired of this song heheh
esp Keiths solo bits , each time is never the same always something
a bit different and special to me :)) a bit more chatting , and
into EID, Cut's like a knife, and now its time for the poor soul
to sing with Bryan for WYG... he looked over our way to see if I
would be jumping and well this time NAHHHHH hehehe he picks a girl
and sheis sort of nervous but loosens up a bit after they start
singing and didnt do too bad, it's all about fun and well she had
fun!!!! wellnow to slow it down a bit They do an unplugged I'm Ready
.. I love this song this way so much better than the original, has
so much meaning. a little more chat then I think he did Straight
from the heart , cant remeber, during the course of the show was
teasing and having fun with Keith , Naturally :))) ahh well then
into Heaven, Somebody and TOTTLGOMIY and after this song Bryan does
his thank yous and the band comes out for their bows and waves,
nd off to B stage they go doing, same as in previous shows :)) and
now back to main stage where they did cloud 9 and run to you and
that was it, thought we will wiat cos he wil do BOM but not this
night they wont. :(( but the show was soooooooo fanstastic had alot
of interaction with the guys and just really amazing !!!! what a
night THANK YOU GUYS!!! it was our last show of our trip and now
we need to go so we say goodbyes to some peeps and go to the back
entrance and wait and wait but it's getting laste and we need to
get shelly back to the airport as she has an early flight to Berlin
for a contest she won, so off we go back to the car frozen solid
and off to the airport and I swear no matter how hard I tried to
read this map and follow signs it was always the wrong way i was
horrid and time was nt on our side we gotta hurry, finally after
being totally lost we get shelly there and literally dump her heheh
off she goes ,mave and I find the car hire place and drop the car
off and hang out til it's time for our flight, never have we been
so tired, so we just kept recapping and chatting and all that stuff.
It's time for our flight back to UK and off we go , back at Stanstead
now and off tomaves house, where we unload ,shower, change clothes
get some food and watch our bits of the video tape we recorded and
off to beddy bye byes, only to get up early yet again to get me
to gatwick so I can get back to my kids I was missing terribly...

Ritter:
Bryan Adams was on 15th November 2002 in Erfurt, to perform his
"Here I Am"-Tour. Of course I couldn't miss that one,
because I've been waiting for 2 years to get this chance. So I was
driven there at about 2:30pm. Maybe you ask why this early... Well,
I didn't want to stand in the back of the hall. Now I had to wait
until 7pm, I stood in the cold 4 1/2 hours and I was shaking, but
there were some nice fans to talk to. Behind me more and more people
arrived and I was happy to be the third at the entrance. Soon after
7pm we were finally let in and I ran like crazy. It felt amazing
when I realized that I stood in the first row and almost in the
middle. But for now we had to wait one more hour when Vega4 were
on stage. The mood was really cool right from the start and the
band was quiet impressed. But sure everyone was waiting for Bryan
to arrive. Exactly at 9pm Bry conquered the stage, opening song
was - of course - Here I Am, and that is almost the only song to
say hello for him. But after that House Arrest made the people rock.
Other songs hit the fans once again and then he started to sing
"Everything I Do" and it felt amazing: There was a choir
of 9 000 People singing the song. Same happend at "Straight
From The Heart", but from this concert on the song has a special
meaning for me. Bryan came over and stood in front of me. Suddenly
he was on his knees and looked right into my eyes. I think I did
the most stupid smile ever, because I was too surprised to think
anything. So I enjoyed the rest of the concert even more than before.
It was a pity he didn't take me onstage to be his Mel C, but it
was okay though that girl didn't really know what to do so she hadn't
done the best job. While "The Only Thing" he did that
game with the audience and it's always fun, after that he disappeared
and stood in the B-Stage. He rocked "A Little Less Conversation"
and some other tracks. Then he returned to the main stage to sing
two more songs. Then he said goodbye, very lovely, and promised
to come back soon.
