14/05/03 - STADTHALLE, BREMEN Review
by Andreas
Kristensen: A sold out Stadthalle 7, and not the huge Halle 1 that Adams
played in last time, were the foundation of the end-night of the German tour. Once
again, a rocking Lea Finn and her band opened up the gig and Adams+band kicked
off "Here I Am" at 9:10 PM. It was a usual
set, though 2-tracks decreased and no b-stage because of the venue size. Much
talkactive Adams thanked all of Germany for 25 years of support and was very popular
whenever he used German slang-phrases or mentioned the many cool facts he loved
about Germany
like for example that Beck was is favourite beer in Germany
The full-band sounded better, and they kinda seems
more played-in 2gether - - more loose and Adams once again showcasing his bluesy
ratso lead style on "Somebody" solo-intro. Adams
seemed rather moved by the end-gig and his many German fans throughout so many
years, and Lea Finn joined Adams on-stage for "WYG" and both thanked
each other for a great time 2gether on tour! His
last words were
"Today I recorded a new song for the new album in this
building, and I'm worknig hard on getting' it done before September
. But
I'm very lazy so
but hopefully before September or October"
. Setlist:
