31/10/04 - BRIGHTON CENTRE

Review by Steven Stanley
Straight after the last show at Wembley we setoff for Brighton and got there at stupid o'clock again... however we had to leave more or less straight away because when I moved my car it had a problem with the exhaust so I had to go and get it fixed. Queuing was fairly fun anyway and it was fairly warm for the time of year. We passed the time by making banners for Jill from Speedway which was funny! Adrian was in his element and was proving a bad example on Stevie lol. Jill thought they were funny anyway!

Bryan came on with 'Room Service' again (how good is that song!) and a setlist followed that had been consistant with most of the tour. Jess Howland was the WYGG and she came from a part of the crowd near me and did a good job. She worked in Lloyds Bank hehe.

Keith did a good 'It's Only Love' solo again and after 'The Only Thing' they came back onstage and sang 'One Night Love Affair'... 'Cloud #9' had been dropped from the setlist for the first time since it became regular in 1999. It made a nice change anyway.

I got a drumstick off Mickey just before the encore and gave it to Stevie cos I have loads already. The 3 song acoustic set was great as always and after the show we went around the back to try and get some autpgraphs... we saw Gary leave but couldn't be bothered to wait for the rest. We knew Bryan had gone and Adrian ended up getting us the other autographs so we went off early on the road to Cardiff. Andrea ended up driving most of the way bless her cos she loves driving lol and we soon arrived in Cardiff...

Tina and Caroline make everyone aware of the real reason behind '69!

Andrea makes the banners after the lads come up with some good slogans for Jill from Speedway!

The "Do I Get Three Wishes If... ...I Rub You The Right Way" banner from the previous night at Wembley!

Self explanatory filth for Brighton lol!

WYGG Jess and Bryan

Tom the cameraman... he always got Andrea on the big screen wheather she liked it or not!

Good shot of Keith and Norm
