11/12/05 - KITCHENER AUDITORIUM, KITCHENER, ON

Review by Wendy:
The night started off great and just got better and better as the night went on.

A few of us Baddies met up before the gig and had drinks and something to eat. It was awesome to see Badangel, Maddy and Paul again and to meet Nancy from Texas.

All of us had decent seats but what the hell we're die hard Baddies so guess where we ended up??? Yep you guessed it right up front !!! and security said nothing.....

I also want to say Hi to some other Baddies we met there from the fan club.Madhavi and Summer of 69 (Liz) and two other fans who knew who we were, but we didn't know them...

The lights went off and we all ready to Rock ! The band appeared and before we knew it Bryan was right in front of us ! The cameras went wild and we yelled and screamed.
Bryan took immediate control, his voice was loud and clear.

For the next 2 hrs he rocked us through time with classics like Lonely Night,Cuts Like a Knife,Can't stop this thing we started and The only thing that looks good on me etc...

The crowd was standing throughout the whole concert, even people in the stands .... WOW !!!!

Keith again like the night before was on fire ! His guitar playing was truly amazing ! He and Bryan interacted throughout the concert with each other, teasing each other and Bryan even turning the mic away from Keith lol !!!

The biggest response from the crowd was when Bryan played Everything I do I do For You in which Bryan flirted with Maddy- You Go Girl ! and of course The Summer of 69. The crowd went wild ! You could feel the electricity and could see that Bryan was very pleased with the response. The sing along with Cuts Like A Knife was loud, so Noreen I hope you heard us :)

To my surprise Bryan also mentioned the "frost Bite Tour" which to us Canadians is a well known joke! We always freeze our asses off....

Overall a "GREAT" gig ! songs from the past and songs from Room Service gave us a NIGHT TO REMEMBER !

Noreen it was me who called you several times.....

Bryan if you happen to read this thanks for an awesome night ! all of us Baddies were up front and enjoying every minute !!!

Review by Paul:
Just got back from what has got to be one of the best Bryan Adams concerts I have been to in a long time.

Here's the story:

Met up with Maddy, Wendy, Karen, and Nancy at the Delta hotel in Kitchener. Had dinner and drinks and headed off to the Auditorium.

Divine Brown opened the show. I must say I thought it was a mismatch, having a R&B singer open for Adams, but she pulled it off and I must say I was impressed.

Adams took to the stage at the sold-out Aud and took command of the show from the get-go. Not a single weak moment in the 2:20 show. Yes..a show over 2 hours.....just the way I like it. My personal highlights:

-awesome WYG singer. She was an actress working on a show in Kitchener, and while she didnt quite know every word, she ad-libbed (as an actress would!), and had lots of enthusiasm. She managed to plug her show, and she looks like she was born for the stage. Well done!

-hearing rarities like Lonely Nights, Hearts on Fire, and Im Ready. Hearts on Fire truly rocked. That song belongs in his set. Audience ate it up.

-the use of a harmonica during Im Ready.

-Adams flirting with Maddy during Everything I Do........

-us getting up to the fence right under his microphone.

-he was very talkative and made mention of the hostages in Iraq, and discussed how he is at odds with his Dad over the war in Iraq. Mentioned he is proud Canada didn't join the war.

-me catching his guitar pic at the end of the show

-meeting the man as he left about 50 minutes after the show ended.

All in all a truly excellent night!
