11/05/06 - HILTON THEATRE, LAS VEGAS, NV

being woke up again way too early by hubby's colleague at work, we can't sleep again, so up we are and getting ready for another day out on the strip, only this time we take the monorail instead of all that walking LOL, we go to MGM Grand , this place is just beautiful, we are approached by CBS studios to do a screening of a pilot for a possible new show, so we decided ahh why not lets give it a go, was quite interesting actually. anyway we walk the hotel/casino a bit and decided to go back outside to do more site seeing walked a bit and we are just so tired that after a few hours we just head back to hotel , grab some lunch and just hang out in casino and relax b4 the show tonight.

I forgot to mention that the first day on the strip I actually met ELVIS LOL and had my photo with him hahhah its vegas YA JUST GOTTA ya know? LOL anyway we go get ready for gig and to meet up with our fellow baddies, I had met Tammy G and Smegosh at this gig along with the other baddies from the night before, its always GREAT to see everyone :))) we all chatted and waited for them to let us in, I just love how smoothly it all went , no bag checks nothing!!! we all go in get to our seats and security is BRILLIANT this night. Richard was our security guy on our side he was just so cool!!!! we were 3rd row but stood at front with laena and Darci talkin to security when bryan first came on and he told us to go to our seats :( BUT seeing as there wasnt ANYONE in 2nd row we just stood there, there was one couple that came and then left dunno where they went lol but we stood right behind laena and darci!!

The guys opened up with SFSG again and its just amazing live it really is LOL( iwill try to get the mp3 uploaded of it soon) Set list was the same as the night before only they added one acoustic song at the end which was Please Forgive Me. After SFSG bryan came down to our side of the stage while singing Somebody and security placed laena and darci and grabbed nancy and myself and placed all 4 of us under bryans mic it was BRILLIANT we were the only 4 up at stage for the longest time before others finally came up ,

security was sooooooooo awesome letting everyone come up at the stage this night and letting us stay there. there was much interaction with bryan and keith and norm over at our side it was GREAt fun, Keith tossed a plectrum on the stage for me :)))) bryan looking at us and smiling and having fun with us.

The show TOTALLY rocked out much better then the night before the crowd was just so much more into it , lots more energy etc the guys even seemed much more into it,

I suppose they feed off the crowds energy and it shows LOL She's Only Happy was GREAT fun again, only this time they didnt go on the floor, but Keith did go in the chairs again LOL so FUN !!!

Also forgot to mention at the beginning of the first show bryan shouted how much he luvs his MUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY was soooooooo adorable and funny!!!! Both nights bryan introduced his mom and had he stand up it was really quite sweet, it was great to see her at both shows :) tonight was just so much fun I REALLY enjoyed myself , but again the show ended way too soon !!! we got copies of the set lists off the stage , spoke to Bob Kemmis for a bit, and some of the other crew.

Then we headed out of the venue to wait to see if the guys would come out and our patience paid off we met Gary and norm and Mickey, had our photos with all of them and chatted a bit with each and had a good laff as well, was so cool to finally talk to gary and norm, and norm is such a character he really is a comedian LOL then Keith finally comes out witrh Rick In tow and we waited for the other fans to get autographs and photos with him and I had called nic h in UK for keith to say Hi to as a surprise for her for her bday, she was well chuffed :)) we chatted to keith for a while , he signed my fontanas cd , i forgot to get mickey to sign it , ah well next time lol but we had a nice chat with keith and said our thank yous and goodbyes til next time.... was so sad really was, always hate that feeling .... but all in all our trip to vegas was well worth it in every sense, Imet some REALLY COOL baddies I hadnt met before and also got to see some i hadnt seen in a while which is always good to see them :) I wont mention names cos I dont want to forget anyone but I will say THANK YOU to each and everyone of u for making this trip SO AMAZING and SO FUN !!!! wouldnt be the same without ya !!!

The next night was much better, met up with Karen and Nancy, went in, security freakin rocked that night, at first he told us we couldn't stand by the stage, then he pulled us up to the front I thing within the first 2 songs! I was shocked, Bryan was so close to me that I had to zoom out a bit to get a picture, and then they didn't come through clear, as I was shaking, so I opted to bounce and sing along with his songs! The energy from the crowd was much better than last night, setlist was a little different, but was great either way! Keith threw a plectrum (spelling??) at Karen, she was so excited! Bryan was coming over to our side quite often which made us scream louder, then a girl (I swear and promise it was not me!!!, Karen will back me on this one!) flashed Bryan and then screamed the next time he comes by she is jumping up on stage, I can imagine this freaked Bryan and this is the reason that he chose not to come to our side of the stage for the remainder of the night...Keith however came over and let me touch his guitar again, what a champ!! The WYGG was from New York, sold pharmaceuticals or something, she did allright, not anything like the girl the night before though.. He introduced him mum once again, she seemed quite proud of her son! Before we knew it, the show ended and we took our spot once again at the entrance to wait it out....Gary came out, and I got a picture with him...what a tall drink of water!!!! Then Norm and Mickey came out, I bugged Norm that he doesn't smile, so he made a really goofy face that I will send to Steven to post if he desires, then Keith came out again, and graciously signed Bryan's setlists that Bob had given me...FROM BOTH NIGHTS!!!!...I felt like a peacock, so proud!!!! I am sure there is toms I am forgetting, if you have any questions, please give me a PM and I will do my best to answer the questions for you! Then it was time to say goodbye to Karen and Nancy, got a lump in my throat, sad cause I don't know when I will run into these amazing women once again, but we have loads of pictures to relive the nights!
