ESTADIO CENTENARIO, MONTEVIDEO
Review by Ruben:
There is just one word to describe Bryan Adams' live performance
in Montevideo, Uruguay: Awesome. He played all the big hits that
made everybody jump up and down like the amazing opener 'Can't Stop
This Thing We Started', and the catchy and very powerful '18 'til
I Die'. Bryan was very surprised and pleased with the enthusiasm
of the crowd during the whole show, and he even mentioned that the
day before he went to some bars in Montevideo and saw a couple of
live bands which were really good.

The incredible ballads like 'Let's Make a Night
to Remember', '(Everything I Do) I Do it for You' and especially
the last 4 acoustic songs made everybody sing along and were the
highlights from the show. The girl invited to sing 'When You're
Gone', Claudia (although same name, not the girl invited in Chile),
was very excited and even gave Bryan a couple of big hugs. And,
in my opinion, the best song of the night was 'It's Only Love',
which Bryan played on his acoustic guitar and that gave the tune
a very fresh sound. Keith shined as always, even playing guitar
behind his back. Incredible.
All in all, the concert was amazing, everybody left
the venue with a big smile on their face and Bryan was very happy
and satisfied with Uruguay. We truly hope he comes back soon, we
need to be in heaven again, please.

This show was due to take place
the day before on 1st March, however the show got postponed due
to 70mph winds and a huge electrical storm. Upon landing the plane
with BA's gear in even lost a wheel (nobody was hurt) so they had
trouble unloading in time!...
