POST GAZETTE PAVILION, PITTSBURGH, PA
Review by KH:
Well, if you weren't in Pittsburgh tonight, you were in the wrong
place! The fans were pumped, the band was pumped, and how can you
beat Thorogood as the opening act?
George and the Destroyers were great. They didn't
play as long as we wanted them too-maybe only a dozen songs- but
they were still great and and a great way to start the evening.
BA and his band came out rocking and really never
quit. They opened with There Will Never Be Another Tonight and closed
with The Only Thing That Looks Good...Even the 3 love songs were
full of guitars (until the encore). The guitars haven't sounded
this good, full, and rich in a long time. Kids Wanna Rock was excellent,
but I think Keith did his best work in It's Only Love (his solo
was pretty good too!) and Run To You. There was no problem finding
the rock star tonight.

Our WYG Girl was Christine, a highway construction
worker from Pittsburgh. She knew all the words and all the parts
and had a great time on stage and she sang as well as anybody else
I've ever heard get up there!
BA and the band were on top of everything tonight-everything
just stood out to me as better than I've heard them in long time.
It seems I heard the keyboards much more tonight and it reminded
me how great it is to have them back in the mix- especially on Run
To You and Heaven.
Once again-if you weren't in Pittsburgh tonight,
you were in the wrong place.
